He probably took a job where party affiliation makes a difference. Kind of interesting that Franklin didn't give him a security job since he claimed to be a personal friend of the family

Looks like they finally moved back to Dare County. Ol Bufurt is no longer a registered Republican either. His side piece is, though.

Wouldn't you disappear if you were put out of office charged with crimes? He still owns his house in Ashe and the county gis is still trying to hide it like he is still working for the barneys.

I feel like 2016-17 were big years here in terms of traffic and revenue, mainly because of Bufurt and his shenanigans.

What became of him? He was really the gift that kept on giving, then he took his $75K and vanished.
