Rose isn’t running again because he is afraid of this site. A bird told him that after Elmer Fudd was out of office, he was the next target. I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately that bird also informed him of some of the information that had been discovered and he decided it best to silence himself.

Rose is a disgrace to both offices he currently holds. He should be ashamed of ALL the deceitful, unethical things he has done. Yet, he and his wife continue to act as if he has done nothing wrong. They truly must have no morals. However, what goes around eventually comes around.

Didn’t we find out he’s not an automatic yes vote in all cases?

I think perhaps Rose has been advised he either needed to step down or resign as police chief. I think that's why he didn't run for reelection for BOC. The worst part is that he counts as a yes vote even if he doesn't attend or chooses not to vote, that's something that needs to be changed.

The problem is that going through the process to remove him would probably take longer than the upcoming election.

Guess Rose skipped this meeting because he knew how the vote would go and didn't want to be the lone no vote. We all know he wouldn't vote against his former Sheriff's office spy. Wonder if they are still texting buddies?

Which one do you sleep with? Or both?

Rose will show up at the next meeting unless there is a decision to vote on. Then sometime in September, he will show up again. With the odd man Rose out the two up for office and the one who hopefully will never run again win every issue. Everyone looks good two are reelected and if things go wrong blame it on good ole sam, the manager replacement or even Rose.

If Rose resigned his seat, what could happen?

This is what happens when folks vote for party over people they know and trust. Vote for the people you know and trust regardless of the party they belong to.

His seat is up but he didn't file for reelection.

It is. He did not elect to participate in the election process......I say prosecute his worthlessness.

Is his seat up for election this time?

Maybe we should get the DA to charge him for violating this statute.

§ 14-230. Willfully failing to discharge duties.

(a) If any clerk of any court of record, sheriff, magistrate, school board member, county commissioner, county surveyor, coroner, treasurer, or official of any of the State institutions, or of any county, city or town, shall willfully omit, neglect or refuse to discharge any of the duties of his office, for default whereof it is not elsewhere provided that he shall be indicted, he shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. If it shall be proved that such officer, after his qualification, willfully and corruptly omitted, neglected or refused to discharge any of the duties of his office, or willfully and corruptly violated his oath of office according to the true intent and meaning thereof, such officer shall be guilty of misbehavior in office, and shall be punished by removal therefrom under the sentence of the court as a part of the punishment for the offense.

How many meetings has he missed? Maybe a better gauge would be when was the last time he attended a meeting?
