NadoS, if your ego is so big, why do you hide behind a screen name? Most people remain anonymous becasue they would never say publicly what they do in forums such as this, I for one don’t brag about my ego and prefer anonymity. So, what’s your excuse because I’m sure you have one. And as for running the world, all you run is goashe becasue you are always on it and putting your two-cents into everyone’s business. Now go ahead and call me names and talk down to me becasue that’s all you do when someone calls you out.

All I did was point out the errors(ity) of your arguments. Now if anyone corrects you, you automatically claim they are me. Either contribute to the discussion or leave. It does not matter how many screen names you use, or who you think I am the fact is you have zero fact to back up your complaints. Anyone that has been on the site for any amount of time will know that Fins and I have very different points of view.

Seems a couple of screen names on this thread and a old dead school superintendent thread have claimed that anyone that speaks against them is Heels. Fins and I have been named many people in the past., four or five that are now dead.

NadoS, you made a comment earlier that most companies do not promote from the ground up anymore, so folks should not assume a trained and experienced educator will be given the job as superintendent. You speak out of both sides of your mouth with this statement as that is exactly what was done when your mother was given the position. Just becasue she has worked for the school system for 40+ years as a secretary/bookkeeper/finance officer, does not mean she has the know how to run a school system. It is obvious that more things than not have gotten worse under her rule. Teachers are dictated to which might have led to higher test scores, but at what cost? Anyone that has kept up with this site over the years knows that you are none other that Heels09 himself. Tell your mom when she’s finished collecting her massive salary and $10.000.00 a year bonus to pack her crap and get out before everyone goes ahead of her.

Just because most of us have jobs and work, doesn't mean we can't post. That is why we are trolls. Just remember that DE has quiet the following and had the most votes for the county. We will all be working for her one day, and the SUPER's son and daughter will be with her and their children long after PY retires. She is in schools and listening to parents, students, and teachers. She is impressive. All should follow her suit. I doubt most of the regulars have ever even entered a school and I am sure the two who will be replaced have not. One is worried about his children and one is worried for control.

Hilarious how DE and the group that she is the puppet for constantly use this platform with different user names to push their agenda of lies. Be professional, stop being biased to just one side and learn to listen. That is what a School Board Member is elected to do!

I kind of liked that Paul Marcinco guy that ran before. He was young enough to be able to work an iPhone, had some financial background, and had no nepotism to anyone in the system.

Look at what our county commissioners gave bufurt 71K and Yearick 2 years salary.

Need to look @ the Golden Parachute rule that the former School Superintendent of Wilkes acquired when he retired.$500 k plus was what he was owed by the Wilkes school system.BOE members had to approve this and because of a lack of knowledge about the situation were somewhat shocked.

The Key to a good school board is diversity. We don't need all former educators or all parents or all administers. We need a mix of all and that is what we lack. Differing points of view is a good thing and also it ensures that we are all represented fairly and equally. I also think that we should split the board into districts. Each area of the county needs a voice. It would also not be a bad idea to have representation from WCC at every meeting. They have just as much of a stake in the education needs of the county as the school system.

When you look at Washington DC and you dont see that staying in office for 25 years is not good then you are part of the problem. Its the same for the school board.

My agenda is just to do what is best for the kids.

Most parents don’t have a clue either. Get some educated professionals on there. But you bring up a good question about her going to the schools in the middle of the day. And those dried up disgruntled teachers are so out of date and behind, they don’t have a clue.
