aFic, let me ask you a question? Say your a lawyer and you have a client that gets arrested for a drug charge. When you go to court and you get the evidence there is a copy of the 911 tapes from the traffic stop. On those tapes a sergeant is herd telling a deputy, that red truck would a good one to stop. As a lawyer what would you think? Is this legal, or should the stop be looked at? Just wondering opinions. People in scanner world know what I'm talking about.

Feely was not a good deputy is what I heard. He couldn't do the job as deputy but he had sucked up to Williams so much he didn't have the heart to get rid of him. So Williams made him a dispatcher and left him making deputy pay. They said he used to come into dispatch with his gun on so he felt like a real deputy.Cabinstick is correct the only reason he got the office is because people were so tired of the mess with Buttcanan and just wanted something new. I was told that the old deputies did like Feely because he was afraid to go on calls. Remember he hid under the bed while Hoppy shot the blind guy and Feely only showed up after the shooting was over. Yet he was only 2 mins from the scene but he hid so the other deputies would handle it. He told them he would meet them and show them where the guy was but left them and let them drive into a almost ambush scene while he was at home safe and warm.

Feely just got lucky. People of Ashe were getting tired of the good ole buddy system and sick of the Democrats choosing their politicians for them. They were tired of hearing about lawsuits and controversy in the news.. So, when Pretty Boy Floyd entered the race, and his competition got bogus charges over an alleged tampering with evidence. His last contender, new to the county, didn't have a chance.. People wanted change and Feely was their 'only' option at the time. That is the only reason Feely is where he is today. Not because of his experience looking at trees in the park service nor his time as a undercover narc. From what I have heard, none of the officer's that worked along side of him thought much of him as a deputy. To me, that says a lot!!
