However if you want to talk about how good most are lets talk about the state trooper that rear-ended a elderly couple on 421 going almost 100MPH with no lights or siren. When the rest of the troopers showed up they tried their best to put the blame on the elderly couple and yet the trooper never got a ticket. Do you think that would have been the case if you hit someone going that fast?

I listened to a great interview today with Michael Dowd. He is a former NYPD officer that was convicted for corruption and served 12 years. His stories strongly support my own observations. I suggest you check out his documentary and upcoming book. Wait, scratch the book. I've never seen a cop yet that could read a book without pictures.

And the only thing I've ever seen calling cops to be good for is to get a police report for insurance purposes or to get them to haul the bodies off after the problem has already been handled.

I once had an officer write a cat a ticket and forced the ticket upon the purported owner. I had to hear about that for three weeks. I had another officer ticket the old church ladies on the way to church to make coffee early sunday morning. One was the DA's mom.

Some people have no common sense.

I have had four of my guys shot a suspect and three killed them. None of the three that killed the suspects ever came back to law enforcement to stay. Most don't want to shot anyone,. let alone kill them, but in a 100 cops, at least 5 are dumb***es. You try to weed them out, but they slip through the cracks. Most of just regular guys. And yes, a lot of them want to be a hero, is that desire that bad? Yes it can get them in trouble, but would you rather them play the villain or the hero?

Ah, I hurt someone's feelings. And for the record, my IQ is quite high. Easily high enough that I couldn't ever qualify to be a cop if I wanted.
