You hot ladies and especially you hot school teachers leave your little prick husbands at home when you come to visit. The dog will treat you.

Don't throw your cigarette butts and chewing tobacco remnants at the doors of every business in town,no wait, thats's the locals.

If you have a new home in Stonebridge on 8/10 of an acre - with a high efficiency heat pump, digital internet, led lighting and a Jacuzzi in each bathroom - don't try to tell me it's a cabin on a farm in Todd.

While striking up general conversation at a restaurant or elsewhere. During the conversation don't tell us how they do it in Florida. Because we really don't care, this isn't Florida...

Many of Ashe natives have a complaint to our visiting cash cows. Maybe we can help bridge the gap between cultures by adding a few tips on how to not get an eye roll from locals.

My first tip......if you are loud enough in conversation to be heard by an adjoining table, then you are too loud. Many times locals are forced to endure your table conversations and cell phone conversations when we would much rather not.

I'm sure other posters will have other tips. Add 'em if ya got 'em.
