Bad, bad, deal. Love animals. But if someone was selling my child coke. Now that is a different story!

Most people in Ashe already enjoy empowered lives living with confidence and joy around their pets.

I'll have to vote with Fins on this one.
Too many other issues that are greater than what your neighbor is feeding his dog.

It seems to me that some people only care about these issues when they see attention going to animal issues. You don't have to pick one issue over the other, picking one doesn't invalidate the other. So would it be correct to assume that the person making the statement about hungry children is making monetary donations to humanatarian aide organizations or volunteering in some way?

Social media has brought to light all the abuse cases of animals. I never see the hungry children and for that matter adults. Why is that?

My dog has a better life than I do. He only goes outside on his own free will when he wants. And when he goes out, he comes back in when he decides to. He doesn't have to worry about business, appointments, or if the light bill is due. But in the end, he's still just an animal. If I open the door and take his invisible fence collar off and leave him to care for himself, when he gets hungry his instincts will kick in and he will find shelter and food. As long as those dogs chained in the backyards aren't actually being abused or having their lives really put at risk, it's no ones business how someone houses their pet. When we have fed all the hungry children in our country, and then the world, I'll give two pisses about how the neighbor cares for his dog.

Making fake calls to 911 is punishable by fines and/or jail time in most jurisdictions.

While what she is advocating is admirable, her methods are decidedly lacking. By encouraging people to call the 911 system and flooding the lines she knowingly endangered the public. She is also a borderline fanatic who reports cases (just like this one) that do not need to be reported and then creates an online frenzy over what should be a non-issue. She is the type of animal rights activist who give the others a bad name.

What she is advocating has already been made law in numerous counties throughout NC. Spread your horizons.

What authority does she have to say anything when she is clearly irresponsible her own self.
Better and more effective ways to go about this. She is on some wild hair witch for the animals.
Weirdo.

I think that Lisa is a lunatic and should be charged with misuse of the 911 system. An indoor dog was let outside to play and she starts this ruckus about a mid treated Husky. She needs to check her facts before taking actions.

There are some rescue operations in Ashe run privately that use every nickle for the animals. Why would you want to donate to an organization as crooked as say the united way helping a sick pooch in California when you can help right here in your own county?
