Ann Rose would like to run for County Commissioner, she's the owner of Rose Butcher shop, however she's taking the hard path of trying to run as an independent. She need around 1000 signatures to be eligible and she only has til May 8th, so if you'd like go out and sign for her to run (you have to be a registered voter in Ashe county for it to be eligible). I know it's a longshot but it's nice to see her try. (This is to have her name on the ballot).
