Two things here. The cops need to start wearing body cameras. Keep them honest and remove the question of what happened. Also, non-cops need to realize that the only way to challenge them is to go along with what they are telling them to do. Then, hire an attorney (lots of them will tae the case pro bono) and go to court and let lots of eyes and ears review who was wrong. But, like it not, like cops or not, in no case should anyone try to fight the cops, run from the cops, argue with the cops. Do that, and things can turn to crapola fast. Like standing on your porch and pointing a gun at the police. Who wins that argument?

Exactly. I fail to see what part of that these wannabes don't understand.

Going for a cops gun = one long dirt nap. It simply cannot be any other way.
