Like I said, just getting the jury around these parts to stay out over the weekend was an Atticus Finch level of success for the prosecution

Jury got the case at 3pm Friday. Expecting a verdict tomorrow.

Yep that's a sad thing really.
It's just like everything you eat is really produced by 10 Megacorporations. (Excepting farmers markets and the like that produce or have locally produced items). (They are Pepsico, Coca-Cola, Nestle, General Mills, Kelloggs, Unilever, Danone, Mars, Mondelez, and Associate British Foods)
The News Media is largely controlled by 6 Megacorporations. They are NewsCorp, Disney, GE, Viacom, Time Warner and CBS. Note that NewsCorp is selling the FOX Entertainment division to Disney as well. Those 6 companies control 90% of the media.

The silence from the media is pretty ****ing. I mean not a peep in the Watauga Democrat, Mountain TImes, Yadkin Ripple, Ashe Post and Times......
In fact the AP&T post articles that do not require anyone to visit the county, they could easily be done sitting in a dorm room. However to miss what to locals is a major trial is just unforgivable for these papers.No doubt their editor is sitting wondering why circulation is declining.....AP&T will be out of business within five years if they don't change.

I will say one thing for sure, that Jim Browning, the one writing the updates that Timmy has been posting, is clearly a liar and completely full of crap. His attitude is down right dangerous with the spin he puts on the story. I’m not implying that Hoppy is guilty, I’m saying this guy’s version is a lie though.
