It's my turn now. I agree. The best person for the position did win. He can continue to sit behind his desk and have his staff do all the real work of a law enforcement officer. He is nobody.That position would not have suited my husband. When you talk about my husband as you do it means nothing to me. What matters to me is what the family of the young man he recently cut out of a vehicle he was pinned into say about my husband. There are a countless number of people my husband has helped in the last thirty years. Those people's opinion matter. When you or someone needs help it's my husband that is there while your sheriff is nowhere around. He is the right person for the job of sheriff. You pathetic people haven't done a thing in your life that makes a bit of difference. That's my opinion. You can have yours.

If you actually wanted to discuss an article, you would have provided a link, or an explanation about the article. Only a moron assumes what people have read and starts a conversation in the middle.

Okay, I should have made this thread under a different user name abd then maybe you would have discussed the topic of this thread. Why is everyone so concerned about my husband? This thread is not about him or the results of the election. It is is about the the article in the paper. The difference between you and me is that I can own what I say. I didn't hide behind a username. For all of you who will now send the rules of goashe, you can save your energy because I have read them. You all know my identity and I have no problem with that. If you can back up the words you type incognito on this site feel free to let me know your thoughts when you see me around town. I would find the attempt to have a conversation interesting. The public starting topics and discussing elected officials is not the same as a nutty spouse of a failed challenger continuing to bash the winner over anything she can find to whine about.

Yes, the candidates did write the answers to the questions in the paper. I should know. So unless you are James wife hiking mom you have no knowledge of the subject. I'm just a resident of this community making a thread about an article written by a local public paper that states the ACSO made a purchase illegally and quotes your sheriff making statements that is not a useful tool and is more of a toy than an asset. Nobody seems to want yo talk about that though.

Once again let me point out, the Sheriff didn't write or print the article, Ashe Mountain Times did. So that being said I'm so happy to know our current Sheriff doesn't have a wife that is childish.

This thread was created so that I could point out the article in the paper and laugh at your elected sheriff. If you read the entire thread, I have kept on that subject. Only did I respond to the posts that were made regarding something else, such as my husband or the election ( which this thread has nothing to do with) and the prior ignorance of Williams when I was called an idiot and ignorant for a spelling error Williams had already made. I am very happy with the results. I will have fun pointing out what an idiot your reelected sheriff is every chance I get. It doesn't mean my panties are in a wad or that I am holding a grudge. What it means is I get joy our of this counties stupidity and find humor in your backwards way of thinking. So you can continue to not talk about the article if you choose. I for one am enjoying the comedic value of your consistent avoidance of the article.

Or could this have been a mistake by the paper? For all it is worth, it doesn't matter, Winters did not get elected and you still have your panties in a wad. Obviously the majority of the voters felt Sheriff Williams was the best suited for the job at hand.

It appears that maybe Sweet Cheeks had her internet access taken away again.

I believe the article Sweet Cheeks is talking about is in this weeks issue of the Mountain Crimes. It is not on line yet, so you would have to spend 4 bits to read it.
