You went to school for sports? Well that answered my question. Because in be first couple of sentences it was obvious that you never went to school for academics

If the team was relying on him them were hurting,I say they are better without him.

Badguy, if being worth a crap means sacrificing respect and dignity, Ashe would already be losers. Winning is about more than numerical scoring. One bad*** does not make a team anyway. The team and coach have my support.

Seeing as JB is no longer on the roster listed online, I would say he's probably not on the team anymore and any hopes Ashe had of being worth a crap are gone.

" There is good players on the team "

I think you may have spent too much time in the gym and not enough in the English department.

That's the problem with our schools.

You dont have a coach. No coach would let this happen but once. He is nothing more than a baby sitter.

How are the 16+ y/o cheerleaders looking this year?

I agree. The coach needs to be in control. The kid is getting by with bad behavior. Way too often, there is a parent with either a relationship too close to the coach or school administration. The coach needs to do what is right and bench the kid until the attitude is turned around. Parents, administration and the community need to support the coaches move. Not only does that kid get a lesson in respect but so do all who see it.

I agree with jrscott. The coach has to take control of the situation. He is supposed to be the one in charge and teaching these kids how to play together as a team. If someone needs to sit, they sit, regardless of the outcome of the game. It's about the bigger picture, not just one game. If you let him get away with that type of behavior now, it will only get worse as the season goes along. Nip it in the bud NOW.

Hmm you say it's not the coach's fault yet everything you wrote here denotes it is the coaches fault. I mean the coach decides who to play. So if a kid's disrespectful and he still let's them play, then that's the coaches fault and teaches them not to respect him. If a kid deserves benching, you bench them even if that means you lose the game.

Tonight i watched a team that was suppose to be what they called the super team. This team was suppose to rival the Spagnolo team, but they was far from it. I have kept my eye on this team since they was young and even myself thought that they could be the team to pass Tommy's team. I know both of the coaches very well that are in charge of the team. But there is no respect for the coaches or the program on this team. There are many attitude problems on the team but one especially. Some of the players are not about the team but only about themselves and you cant do that. I have grown up around sports and went to school for it. I know its early in the season but this season will be labeled as " what could have been and what should have been ." I have the most respect for the program and for the coach, he has been blamed for all this but you cant coach a kid that is not willing to be coached. I saw one player throw a fit cause the coach took him out, he slammed the wall and wouldnt come be with the team. That is unacceptable he should have rode the bench the rest of the game. All the kid wants is attention and to stand out from the team which is a CANCER. There is good players on the team dont get me wrong, they have the pieces to be a great team. They have a great point guard and a good bench. None of that matters though if they dont handle the attitude of that one player. I feel sorry for the coach because he has to deal with all these problems i hope they turn it around, we will see thursday when they play our big rival.
