Regarding Ken's liberal tendencies, can one of you flatearth buffoons point me to a Republican or "conservative" policy that has made Ashe County great again? To say, as The Jefferstonian has, that Ken is somehow in err because the county's BOC has been a Republican bloc for some time speaks more to the inherent ignorance of those voters. Point me in the way of progress, kids. Don't blame the donkeys.

Just a bit of advice, If you are going to use multi syllable vocabulary words, learn the correct definitions for them first. Otherwise, it just makes you look like an addleplate

Yeah..I have a sister who is a bit pretentious too...she uses the wrong word and then defends it saying she has a good vocabulary.

I'm not going away mad countrygal, I'm don't feel like I've been "run off" and it won't be permanent. It's (mostly) been fun but it's become a time suck with too much of the same crap just going around in circles.

Truthfully (as always) I've spent too much time goofing off on here lately and mostly it's been with a glass of wine in my hand. it's not what I need to be doing in my life right now - more productive things, more meditation, more time with my elderly mother, more time with my sweetheart of a husband - and less of this.

And chendo - I write here the way I speak. Magnanimous is a word I might use if I were speaking to you in a real life conversation. I just like words. Weekly vocabulary lists were my favorite task back at NWA - thank you Mrs. Caviness.
