It was just my thoughts on the matter! Should've known better than say anything on here! All this site is a bunch of bullies! So do as you like! I'll be eating at Old Town Eatery many times in the future! It's a shame the locals can't support other locals!!!

unless the kitchen equipment has been changed out there is plenty of room to prepare a broad menu, you don't fry eggs ahead very often and that might be the problem, or maybe they are not even using whole eggs but are getting by the the packaged eggs which have been shelled and h*mogenized.
Winners Circles had and has its positives and negatives but they made the kitchen facilities work pretty well for a number of years.

RedCamel - Just how much time do they need to fry an egg? And, SheerShack I did try it and no they do not fry eggs because waitress said the grill is too small. I would think it takes more room to fix scrambled eggs than a fried egg, but I have only cooked 50+ years. Guess you never get too old to learn.

I have ate there for breakfast and lunch. The luch is wonderful food and wonderful service. The breakfast was good the menu isnt that big for their breakfast but i know that the other place had to feed the hotel guest and im assuming they do as well. They are a new resturant just give them time.

I think Old Town Eatery is pretty good all around! Guess you wouldn't know unless you try it yourself! Don't believe all you hear, get out and try it for yourself!!

You may be right (no one eats there) from Ashe County. We saw one other local couple when we were there Saturday morning. And from overhearing conversations, the diners were here for the Fiddlers Convention.
