club house seeking tax dollars

It is all true the former EMS guy is poking around just trying to stir up trouble. Yes it is the same Chief that is running the place and no they are not doing anything productive for Ashe County. This is already a huge waste of tax dollars. The fire departments are pretty much already doing most of the rescue operation now anyway. This is just a couple of the old guard wanting to pad their incomes and get on the county dime.

Give them everything they ask for, and more. Why do you hate fire people and such? They stealing your oxygen lol!!! I'm kidding. It's a joke big man.

I would rather see them raise the fire tax and let some fire clubs get rescue equipment. If they are still not running calls they shouldn;t get a dime.

In my opinion the funding should be cut completely until they start to do what they are supposed to be doing. I imagine the commissioners would get run out of town if the allow this!

Whatever the commissioners decide will be best. They're conservative Republicans and know no wrong. They're good God-fearing stewards of taxpayers money.

Last I recall, didn't we learn they were ignoring calls and not showing up when requested? Is the same chief in charge? Maybe it would be better to take the funding for the clubhouse and have the ambulance service add a crash truck to the contract. The county could sell them the county's equipment cheap.

If my sources are correct I hear the rescue squad is looking to get the commissioners to implement a rescue tax for all of Ashe County. I also hear the commissioners are seriously considering doing it?
