He is taking over the EMS system in Madison county NC. I am thinking the contract for Ashe county is coming up this year? Will he be adding a fourth unit and will he put a unit in the northern part of the county? The hospital needs to get their own transport unit or start requesting a unit from the transferring facility to come get the patient. This may do away with the need of a fourth unit. Remember that sales tax money the county got passed and then said the hospital would only get the money for 3 years? They can send the money from the sales tax to the hospital for a unit to transport all the transfers.
