Long time reader here, first time posting! Ok got to chime in on this one for some reason. Many on this site have called JPP a liar among other things but i have yet to hear anyone call out even the first real lie she told? I also can understand why the commissioners would want Donna gone. Go watch the meeting when Donna asked for more staffing earlier in the year and see how Donna reacts to questions from the board. As a tax payer I am glad the board questions adding more staff to any department for any reason. Is that not a huge part of the job as commissioner? Most of you people on here, if there actually are more than 2 or 3 that post, are so full of sh**. I just hope the readers realize that this is one big fun game for you and don't take this for anything other than it is!
One final question has anyone in a position of power ever done anything good?

I hope Nancy Henry and her family and friends file a complaint. Donna Weaver should have her family and dss employees file a complaint as Poe has specifically called them out for so called work discrepancies. And we all know now there is no truth in her.

How can we get her thrown off the smokey retard board? Remember she was poking that chest out in the meeting about that board.

Need more folks to file a complaint with the state. If we can get them to do some sort of investigation into the actions of the county board then changes are possible. Interfering with the DSS Manager is grounds for removal. The letter of resignation specifically says there has been 2 years of interference. No I dont think wind bag, wrinkled, Poe has any aspirations to take over dss nor do I think she is educated or qualified in any shape or form. That would really be beneath her in her mind. Its a shame this blight of a woman is still involved in our counties government.

Poe and Sexton can neither one serve as interim director while being on the DSS Board. I do not think Poe wanted that job anyway. She just wanted Donna Weaver gone. And it was said best today, "she did not like Weaver because Weaver is smarter than her". Everyone got to see that in the first attempt to take over DSS. Poe thinks Weaver made a fool of her when in fact she made a fool of herself. She did it again at the public hearing having to speak three times. It became a hearing about her, not the issue. Sexton wants Weaver'a job but showed everyone that he is too stupid to do it when he spoke at the hearing as well. He talks of his DSS experience all the time. How relevant can it be if it was over 23 years ago. So much has changed in that amount of time, he has no relevant experience at all.

Judy's work is not done yet. She still needs to get DSS interim director appointed. Her and/or Sexton? Director and Assistant Director? Possibly why she wants to take DSS employees out from the State PersonnelAct so she/Sexton/Sam can fire at will.

It is not about the citizens of the county DSS is to serve! It is self serving. County Admin was furious at DSS for bringing "those people" (county residents that signed up for fuel assistance ) in the courthouse. Those people are our friends, family and neighbors. They are elderly, disabled or working poor. Unbelievable! And Judy had the nerve to say that DSS left them out in the rain. Well if Admin had let DSS open the court house doors early like they requested, those people wouldn't been out in the rain.

The mouth breathers are trying to hunt a way to save face. The plan was blown all to ell when Donna resigned. It appears their plan was to do away with the dss board, take over by the commissioners and then let the county manager fire Donna. Notice that not one sole has come on this thread and offered a defense for this other then one moron that may be Judy.

So the good chief changes his vote after Poe gets what she wants, Donna's resignation. Now he wants to play "good guy" to garner more votes for sheriff when he runs. Very strategic move. I call shinanigans on the whole situation, but still very strategic none the less.

Because most of those duties are only advisory roles and have no real power.

Would like an answer to this. Why are we being told that the only responsibility of the DSS board is to hire and fire the DSS director? This is supported by the article in the Mountain Times, which Donna Weaver disputed Poe's claim of this. You can look up their responsibilities.

What's the required time for meetings to be announced?

DSS Board is supposed to meet next week to appoint an interim director. Sexton has not announced date/time for that meeting. He probably won't until right beforehand.

Hes also so ignorant that he cares nothing about the conversation yet each day he trolls the thread.

It's a shame you can't think of anything on your own and just pretty much repeat what's said to you
