No tunnel, they use a transport van.

I thought when the new jail was built it was supposed to have a tunnel to the court house for secured transfer to and from the jail to the court house.

WKSK said that two inmates escaped during court and that they were caught a very short time afterwards. Said the sheriff's department had it under control.
My question is did this same incident not happen just a few years ago when two jailers were walking the inmates to court and they were not properly handcuffed? I think that was when sheriff Williams made it mandatory for all inmates to be transported to the courthouse by van.

Anyone hear any details on what happened? Seems the sheriff’s department is trying to keep it quiet
