It is available at the WJ ABC in town. Boondocks, Hotel Tavern, River House and Red Dog all carry it as part of their Scotch selection.

Glenlivet is lighter with no appreciable smoke or pear. 18 y/o is pretty darned good. 25 is nectar from Heaven

McCallan is a good scotch. It is a darker oak than the lighter Glenlivet. Both are from the Isle of Spec. Personally I prefer the Glenlivet with just a wee splash of water. Verry smooth

I've been told that. I've just not found one I liked. But I think the ones I've been presented were all from the region where it's very Smokey and peaty. Is that northern Scotland? I don't know my a scotch very well. But I've got a couple clients that really like it and could drop that kind of money.

If you find the right single malt, you will never leave it. Only problem is my favorite is almost $300 now.
