I have trouble believing that anyone approved the shoes before hand then stopped her from walking. I suspect the kid didn’t think anyone would stop her, and when it happened, told the mother her shoes were approved previously.

Now the truth is coming out. The little tranny is wanting to identify as a male. Look at the clowns hair. She is only wanting to stir up crap along with her rotten mouth mother.

The more I read on this, I think the mother is the real problem here. I think she has an issue with her daughter’s “choices”.

If the school provided assistance to acquire the needed attire then they don't have a case. A lawyer is just going to bleed them dry. There is no do over and even if they did sue it's a government entity that gets its money from the taxpayer so they'll be suing themselves essentially.
I just don't believe the story. As someone else said these folks seem attention getters. That's sad because if the daughter is special needs, then this is not helping her and indeed may impede her further in the future. Life's full of disappointments, and as others are saying work etc not going to make exceptions (unless medically necessary or ada required).
I agree though that attacks on the woman's looks are not good, and not appropriate. Her looks are really not relevant to the situation.

I don’t think a dress code requiring girls to wear dresses would be enforceable. Especially not in today’s environment. However, they can enforce a no athletic shoe policy. And there are plenty of appropriate footwear available for “women in sensible shoes” as Robin Williams put it.

If walking had been that important to her she would have just changed her choice of shoes. The mom says on the video the girls were to wear dresses but her daughter was wearing a white shirt and black pants, so they had already made an exception for her. Most employers have some type of dress code, she might as well get use to having to follow the rules.

Exactly you’ll find out there’s two sides to the story. All students were provided the dress code requirements in order to graduate. IF, the individual had trouble understanding these rules(mom indicated they had struggled all thru school & was special needs), then the mom should’ve taken on the responsibility to be there to ensure all requirements were met ahead of time! How come her child seems to be one of the few that had issues? Someone can’t expect to be given special privileges all their live just because they don’t like what God gave them! Sometimes you have to follow the rules no matter HOW you identify yourself! These 2019 graduates have a long road ahead of them. It’s not going to be a bed of roses. Parents need to stop covering up for these young adults & teach them to follow rules/policies in the future.

I'm all about being unique, but after seeing a petition with the girl's picture and watching the video again. I believe these are attention seekers. Rules are rules. I can't wear pajamas to work, but I don't whine about it either.

I don't mind if they help a student buy clothing for a child that is truly in need. You are being a little absurd on that point. In general the parents would be willing to follow the rules and make sure their child is following them. They had all year to prepare. In my opinion this chick watches too much news or spends too much time on social media reading dress code posts.

I'm wonder where the school got this money to help buy clothes when all we ever hear is they don't have enough money for supply's

The mother said she got prior approval others I've spoke to have said there is no way because the entire Class of 2019 were told exactly what the dress code was and if they needed help obtaining the attire the school would pay for it. Most dress code law suits rule in favor of the school. So good luck with suing. I wonder if she was one of the ones that didn't show up for practice. There were some that didn't and they were not allowed to walk.

First of all her looks have nothing to do with the subject at all and it is stated that she had gotten prior approval.

I'm not sure what she can sue for maybe discrimination but what every her lawyer does I hope he breaks it off in somebody.

If the students were told in advance that tennis shoes could not be worn, case closed. Every one of her peers that followed instructions walked. Does she and her ugly mom think she should have special consideration? The time to debate the issue would have been prior to the event, not immediately before it started.
