I did not say he could stop it ravaging the world although in some parts of the world many national leaders have done a much better job of containing the pandemic. But your lord and master neither had the ability to lead our country in combating the virus within OUR borders, nor cared enough to listen to those who could. For someone that has frequently called me a racist who while making false statement calls somebody a wop seems somewhat hypocritical. Firstly I have never praised him on this site although he is deserving of praise, secondly your statement regarding the nursing homes is false Fox fake news. So in one sentence you have proved yourself to be a hypocrite, a racist and a liar. As to people of Italian extraction how come you didn't refer to The Chump's Italian bloodhound in that manner.

Trump should be responsible for the USA however, he chose to ignore covid at the outset then he downplayed it and now he slams our scientists instead of taking advantage of their expertise. The pandemic could have been an opportunity for him to show his leadership skills instead he reinforced the opinion of those that believed he was lacking in leadership qualities. Before the Trumpoids come out with how great a leader he is "he's a highly successful businessman" I have to say I agree with them, if being successful business consists of failing to pay your bills, owing more than you're worth and bullying and threatening creditors and employees. What a success story: after being placed in a military school because his parents couldn't control him of which he was thrown out, he went on to college where he dropped out. When he was In his early twenties daddy gave him $1m and said go out and be a self made businessman. He then went on a rampage of swindling conning and tax evasion. If being a disgusting liar and a thief are the attributes of a successful businessman I guess he fits the bill.

Please don't waste ventilators on Republicans, when triage is applied they should be the ones they place at the bottom of the priority list. After all they don't see any reason to wear masks or social distance they're 10ft tall and covid proof.

Back in New York, poor kids would trick or treat in rich neighborhoods for better candy. But here povertville, it's all just wall to wall stunted baby ruth minibars.
How far would they have to drive to get a full sized bag of M+M's? I'm going to guess: Maryland.
Contagious mountain children still have 72 hours to put an old republican or two on a ventilator before voting day, so I'm all for it.

My mother would love trick or treaters coming in and showing her their costumes but I've convinced her to turn on the porch light & put out a bowl of candy with a help yourself sign. I can't risk her getting sick and I will be with her during the crucial hours when there might be kids out.
I'm doubtful we'll see a soul but I got the good candy for those kids who might understand a socially distanced Halloween this year. Mom can at least see from her favorite chair out the window.
