Totally agree with BaptistLady! Bravo for the Gov and the others. A little more do onto others would not hurt any of us. And for the life of me I cannot understand what is wrong with living and being a member of society while practicing the 10 commandments.

As for this transgender nonsense- we started down this slippery slope long ago. And now look where we are. President O spends more time talking about this overseas than the other real topics..hummmm...How did we get here folks? Once it was all for the majority --and now we are only worried about the minority and their rights. Well what about mine? And to allow a male to use the showers of a girls locker room is beyond STUPID DUMB AND IGNORANT...or visa versa.

The timing of all this is perfect. They are essentially spending money left and right ... so they hide behind a smokescreen of HB2 support and In God we trust goes up.

I have never seen in god we trust on the first baptist church anywhere in the county. For that matter I have never seen in god we trust tattooed on a baptist forehead either. Yet the clowns put it on county buildings for votes.

If you think that putting In God We Trust on a few buildings is going to save you or anyone, you are gravely mistaken.

In fact doesn't that violate one of the 10 Commandments, "Thou shalt make no graven image unto me...."

If you want to save your family, your friends and others, I offer 4 steps, no matter what denomination you are.

1. Conduct meaningful daily prayer.
2. Conduct meaningful scripture study.
3. Do daily acts of kindness for no reward.
4. Keep the Commandments of God as you know them to be to the best of your ability.

Why not just paint a rock white in your front yard and put what you want on it? Or did you already do that? Seeing In God We Trust all over building will not make you trust anymore than you do. Religion should not be in politics at all

These are actions needed to restore our moral values. I am thankful that we finally have leaders willing to stand up to the liberals.

To bad they didn't read the rest of HB2......as it removed constitutional rights from Tarheels, particularly if you work for a small business.

There was no need to put In God We Trust on the courthouse, nothing more than political pandering to low information voters....

I am so proud of our commissioners this week. Supporting our Governor and now finally making our courthouse complete. They have made Ashe County proud. We need more politicians standing up for God.
