Mom I got widows benefits and I was at retirement age also. Later disability entered the picture. What difference does it make , other than being able to work part time and draw retirement. Either way you go it's a fight to make them on hand that money.

Mom I am going to tell you a secret few know about the disability system. It is set up to deny your claims. Any disability lawyer will tell you the same. Do you know why my widows benefit claim was denied even after I went to an administrative law judge hearing and believe me it was absolutely stupid. According to this judge and I use that word lightly. "I had never been legally married"!! Nevermind they had a copy of my .marriage license on file and had had it for years she issued that stupid ruling. I contacted Thom Tillis and told him that the Social Security had just declared all 4 of my legally born in marriage children to be B******s and I did not appreciate it after 32 years in a fully legal marriage. I hot a call from the Social Security on a Monday and you know the first thing they said was "you were legally married, we have the marriage license." No **** Sherlock?? The next was you check is on the way. I was fully eligible to draw widows benefits on my then exes record. They drag you through the coals and deny those benefits hoping you die before you collect because that's free money for them. They don't hesitate to take it before you even get your paycheck but they don't want to return it to you. Social Security is now the largest Ponzi scheme in this country with LLCs the second. They want you to give up claiming what you paid in. But there is a listing of over 20 diseases that get you a head start if you have them. If a disease is terminal there is a compassionate benefit which cuts the red tape. Too many give up after a denials or two.

Fyi I went to Daymark long before I was diagnosed with a paraganglioma. You or Chendo have never seen my medical records, Ichecked ****. Now another little tidbit of information for you. I saw a psychiatrist when
I saw the two STATE DOCTORS for the Social Security disability claim. Now neither doctor could refer me to anyone nor recommend any TREATMENT ANYWHERE. It is against SOCIAL SECURITY RULES. Their whole responsibility is to EVALUATE FOR DISABILITY. Nothing more. They send a report to the Social Security Disability determination office that makes THE FINAL DETEINATION based on the MEDICAL EVIDENCE
My suggestion is you stop the lying before more people including me give upon this site entirely and watch it fold.

Oh my another lie yo eliminate. No doctor ever sent me to Daymark. I chose to go there rather than strangle **** out of some family member in desperate need of a good attitude adjustment..But make no mistake dog, if I feel the need of some MINDFUL WALKING around the yard looking like an I will make sure to go back there. A medical doctor who had not been "hearing horses hoofs when he should have been hearing zebras might have discovered the actual medical reasons behind my panic attacks. Cathy Clark finally had the sense to question why I was having facial paralysis after steroids failed to work. **** I thought the problem was coming from the cold air hitting me in the face through the canvas of that old popup. She was the one in this county who looked into exactly what the medical cause was and she had the good sense to refer me outside the county. Daymark may be great with drug addicts but they missed the boat like a few others with what was actually going on.

He had a pcp, rheumatologist, urologist, cardiologist and a neurologist. Driving a car has nothing to do with if you get disability or not! I see many people who get disability driving every day. There's no magic surgery to fix him either. If it took 15 doctors to figure something out, then you were definitely going to the wrong ones. By the way you were done with me remember? Back Ashe needs a **** of a lot but I do not see it happening. They need leadership that can at least pick a site for a middle school that either isn't in a swam, guess the bought a realtors lies, or in the latest case so I heard isn't shut down by the feds over an endangered species. No they can not just eliminate them with poison. It's against federal law not that that would stop them. They need leaders who will get their noses out of the second home owners and tourist and actually try to keep.long term residents in this county. In all my working life of 12years only 1 of those years were in Ashe County. It's not what you know its who you know here and its pathetic that in order to work I first had to go to Caldwell County and work at Singer plant 1 then to Watauga where I worked 10 years and that wasn't who I knew it was what I could learn and do. That is what this county is and no sugar coating is going to change it. From my understanding Ashe only has a couple factories left. Those can't hire everyone needing a job and part time retail is pretty much a waste of time. I only took Kmart in 2000 because it was full time, after they saw fit to cut to part time my daughter and I had one job between us. Still we made ends meet with no help from this county. For my trouble in being off the " taxpayers dole" as some here call it I got kicked right back to where I was when my ex walked. It had not a thing to do with trying since I and my daughter both had 24/7 availability. We worked weeks on end without a day off, any shift, any time and we were available to cover anytime someone wanted to play golf. Until people from this county and CHARLOTTE, yep personel told me where those phone calls came from decided to meddle in thing that were none of their business. Now if this county thinks anyone is going to work in a county they can't afford housing in I still have that solid golf bridge for sale. Obviously I am not the crazy one, I'm just more longer drinking Ashe County's koolaid or buying their bs.

Krazy the only thing you got disability for was being mentally ill and you were referred to daymark and you quit going. Guess you knew more then them too.

Mom let me ask you this. Is your mother and father still fit enough to drive a car???I am not nor will I ever be able to do that again. How many doctors did your father have?? The average for most people to get disability is 3 times..Mine was twice and 15 different doctors. Among them NEUROSURGEONS, ENTS, hearing specialists, and 2 doctors chosen by the Social Security administration. Now maybe a person could fool one doctor or two but 15??? Its also doubtful medical tests such as mris, vestibular tests, etc can be fooled by anyone. Now you can choose to believe the liars on this site but I believe I will go by what my doctors and specialists tell me. There is no magic surgery to fix my problem. Any surgery is not worth the risk that I could wind up on a feeding tube for the rest if my life or worse. Those are the facts and it does my health not one bit of good to keep listening to the fools here lie about the facts of my life I don't like it, wish to **** it was different but I live with it. Now if the intent is to continue to runmpeople off from this site until it shuts down a very good job is being done. So have at it.

Dog, I know I'm grateful they can still work. I do hate they always depended on those factory jobs that everyone keeps saying we need back here. They both retired early. My dad has several health conditions that qualify him for disability. Unlike, some people he got denied 5 different times. So he made the decision to retire early. Then after he had some med changes he went back to work part time. My mom isn't in the best of health herself. She did early retirement just so she could continue to work, but less hours. Just like my neurosurgeon told me a few years ago those that need disability don't get it and those that don't do. I'm one of those that needs it, but I continue to work everyday. I will until I retire. You are right young people need to think about government jobs with benefits. Trade jobs that will always be needed. Especially those that are licensed and insured. Our kids know that whatever we are able to leave them they are at will to do what they wish. Our only condition is our home isn't to sit and rot. They are to either put it on the market or rent it out.
