Jr the county has enough on Yearick with his involvement in the bufurt train wreck to dismiss him without paying him a dime. Its past time for him to go back to his residence in Caldwell county. Least we not forget a lawsuit still exists from WBTV against the county for the records request.

While we are happy that Buchanan is no longer Sheriff, the corruption that allowed him to become Sheriff remains. Roark won't face the voters having gotten himself a cushy county job and resigned his commissioner seat. Perry won't face voters as she's not up for election this year. So Rose is the only Commissioner responsible that is up for election, assuming he files, as far as I know right now he has not and he has what about a week left to do so.
Yearwick with his golden parachute we can't afford to get rid of until his contract expires. Hopefully the new Board fails to extend it, and then just after he's out of office and a new county manager is hired, Roark is let go for incompetence.
