Jrscott, there is a $400+ million dollar surplus in Raleigh this year. List the years that a Democrat controlled House, Senate, and Governor's office missed the budget deadline.

It does not matter who has the majority they ALL should be working for us and doing their jobs.

If you think it's dysfunctional now, wait until you have a democrat governor and Republican legislature. Yes, I think Cooper will win in 2016.

Democrats missed the budget many times in the State and still even this isn't the latest they stayed a few times. Incidentally while the Democrats controlled the House, Senate and Presidency they didn't pass a budget any of those years on the national level.

The problem is there is to little money and people wanting the government to do to much for them.

And this is the direct result of voting for Republicans! And, "no", it's not both parties, just the Republicans!
