That was my initial thought, ashehikingmom, but I wanted to make sure. I didn't know the GM was non-religious (nothing wrong with that) but I also could never see the employee in question doing that to a table. I'm familiar with both parties. Saddest part of this is that two "grown adults," parents, went online and felt the need to play playground. But, that's what you get for hiring someone with more baggage than a 747.

Billy, more than likely the manager. She likes to degrade any religion. The former employee comes from a non religious family as well, but I don't see her doing something like that at work. The manager has ranted numerous times about church goers. When she can't find a real issue to rant about that is her choice to go to.

Help me out here, who are you referring to, Tried? The manager or former employee?

I know the nice dr. and his son probably don't like having drama in there nice new establishment. And as long as she is there, they'll be drama. Plus she's always voicing her opinion in front of customers on religion, ( that she's not at all ) and openly Downs chick fillet because they close on Sundays and don't support the lgbt community. That's fine to have your opinion, but in the restaurant business don't you want to be unopinionated in front of consumers?

billy - I am an avid and serious vipassana meditation practitioner. I don't take myself seriously at all. I admit when I'm wrong. Everything I have posted here is true. Once you've practiced this type of meditation for awhile, you can see the bigger picture and you know that you are just a tiny wheel in a giant cog of humanity.

I just want to be me and talk to some local folks, is it possible to do that here or not? If not, I'll go away but after years of isolation (and meditative thought) I only want to reach out to the wider world (or at least the wider County) and make some new friends. Is that is even possible here?

You need to stop taking yourself so seriously. That's why we think you're a refugee from that other place. You needed another forum to play "Look at me! Look at me!" like the rest of those resident trolls.

No, this is in regards to the context of the current situation. Not you.

billy, I hope you aren't pegging me as the mother of this terrible woman? I have nothing to do with NRB or the managers/owners. Seriously dood!

Unfortunately, in this particular matter, the mother is no saint either. She's a drama queen too, just more articulate in how she expresses herself. I've never seem someone coddle their kids the way she does.

I did get an offer once in my younger days to go live in Abu Dhabi as part of a harem to a a wealthy Sheik and it's the closest I ever got to the "g-string scene" - though I actually doubt that kind of skimpiness goes on in a real UAE harem. I said no, tho the Sheik offered to throw in a new Porsche as an entry gift.

No jack, never for me - I am a good girl and wouldn't resort to that (though I don't judge those that do). I'd just rather use my brain than my body to make a living.

You should have tried the G-string scene since you liked dollar bills.

Thanks Tabs for a straight answer - you've been a welcoming person here and I appreciate it. It seems everyone else pretty much thinks I have a secret mission or I am not truthful or real.

Why not catch up here or is there a better site that I am unaware of? The local papers don't offer much though I am sure they try. I read more world news than local and am most certainly unconnected to the local restaurant industry. I did however work at Shatley Springs many years back when I was in high school. Lee paid us waitresses $1/hr back then but the tips were good.

Like I said ask around Ashe you can hear countless stories of what she has done. Some will defend her, but the majority will not.

Lol! Catching up through GoAshe? You are a real winner.

ashehomegrrl

Posted 1:57 pm, 01/01/2020

No - ashemom, I really don't know much about the local stuff. I don't have many local friends after being away so long - just my family basically. I joined here to catch up and find out what's happening locally - and I am slowly doing that.

I don't do any social media at all and never will. I'm also not a troll.

So what did she do that's so bad?

ashehikingmom

Posted 1:56 pm, 01/01/2020

Billy I'm thinking that it isn't her, but probably just as bad.

Ashehomegrrl, NRB is owned by Doctor Hershner and his son.

ashehomegrrl is no doubt the subject of this thread

To be from Ashe you really don't know much of anything there do ya? Just ask around town you will find out. You showed up just right after the other social media page was archived. So I'm figuring that you are one of the trolls from there anyway.
