HHH38 pegged my BS meter too. I have been back a couple times to try things for myself. It is OK. Nothing special. I never have tried to tring out a pizza, whatever that is.

Good morning! I'm new to the area, thought I'd try this site out to see what goes on in these beautiful mountains! I went to this Old Towne Eatery this morning with my family. I thought it was a little different being in a hotel. But as we sat down we was greeted by a friendly waitress! The cooks seems very nice as well! We ordered waffles for my children and my husband had loaded hash browns with 2 eggs OE and bacon. I tried the French toast with an OM egg. I've never seen hash browns that big we had to get a to go box. All in all we thought the food and service was that of true southern hospitality! We will be making this little place our Saturday breakfast place. Looking forward in tring out the pizza!! Thanks and God bless!

The manager there has no idea how to run a successful business.the last restaurant she opened shut down and this one is well on its way.the pix on fb of the food there look disgusting.why not do something different and use fresh food.

I fully agree with you it would not suit me...And as for what you pay for a simple meal, well that's your problem and not mine.. I really could give a rats a $$ less......

Timmi, I regularly have meals that cost more than your rent. I rarely do fast food. I seek out quality local joints with good food. Today I was out of town and found a great dive with fresh cooked food (some of it organic) and a menu that changes daily. But I'm sure it would not fit your choke and puke pallet.

Guess if it didn't have the Golden Arches for you to recognize, that's why you passed on it...

Yep I remember that. I just dont think they would have anything that would fit in our diets.

Dog, remember several weeks back, another one of these threads popped up on the place and I thought about trying it for myself. I texted you asking where it was after driving through town twice. I ended up deciding if it was that tough to find, I wasn't interested. Their billboards don't list any address or directions either

They have a new smaller sign but you can't read it until you are right at it.

This has been pointed out before, but I didn't believe it. Who makes a sign with only one side? The red sign at the road is a joke; it's ugly and not professionally made. If that's any indication of how they operate, I don't think I will be going there any time soon.

I have never been there when there was a waiting line to be seated or to pay. Same old-same old--no improvement since my last two visits. I personally think the wait staff is just plain rude.
