Thanks for the wake up call aw. I feel sure Gerry went in inspections and told them he wanted a permit for the farm building. The inspector needs to make a visit after the power is tuned on and see that Gerry is living in a barn. Then he in turn should call the health department.

He probably didnt tell them. Someone should have the health department investigate

I'm surprised they gave him a permit if he's living in it. A friend of mine had a small outbuilding by a stream and had a very hard time getting an electrical permit because they thought he was using it as a "cabin". But then again, he is a commissioner and it might have gotten shoved under the rug.

Most all counties are in the 21st century but ashe. The counties web site has sucked for years. It took them almost 6 months last year to even post the budget. All other counties have all tax information online so you can see if property taxes have been paid, permits issued, inspections, etc...It would require a trip or a phone call to see if Gerrys taxes are paid on he acreage. It would be cute to see a tax foreclosure.

He doesn't exist. The county should claim his property as abandoned.

I mentioned this before, Gerry's tax bill address goes to a New Bern address for the 28 acres and is deeded to him. I need to look into that deeper.

Gerry was smart and his deed of trust to Suntrust bank was for the house and 5 acres. He retains 28 acres that have some buildings on it.

Was the barn not included in the property that Fannie Mae took? Or is this another one of his stunts?

I also heard he had applied for an electrical permit for that barn. I bet gerry is paying his property taxes.

I think a lot of the locals didn't know Price was a sovereign citizen. I didn't know anything about him and didn't vote for him. I like to know who the person is and what they stand for.

Here is something of interest regarding the way these Sovereign Citizen whackos operate and how sometimes, eventually, they do get caught up with. You can google or bing or whatever you chose to do but the story involves a female dentist and her husband, Ed and Elaine Brown in Plainfield New Hampshire. They had a 9 month standoff there with the Feds and once caught they went to court and were sentenced to 30 years each for their tax evading stunts. The Feds have reason to believe that they booby trapped their properties and no one was allowed to view the properties prior to the bidding. Their home on a 100 acre estate had an opening bid of 250K and no one showed up to bid on it. Her downtown dental office building had an opening bid of 507.5K and no one showed up to bid on it either. These Sovereign Fools are nuts, crazy, and dangerous. They do have the right to be that way however. I would never trust any one of them. Let alone vote for one to be elected to office and darn sure would never have vote to re-elect one. But lots of our locals did though. But they finally did see the light. No to watch the antics about this non person and his bills and taxes etc. BTW, the good dentist and her hubby are in their 70's so they won't breath through free air ever again.

Thanks for the catch Agent. I did intend to type mediation. Back in the day Gerry was a certified mediator, I'm not sure what he claims as an avocation now, other than fool.

The answer to your riddle is that he doesn't live anywhere because he doesn't exist. He said so himself. At least the person whose name he was elected under, whose name the mortgage was taken out in, and the person whose name was used to get the car loan. Those people all are nonexistent according to him. Rational solid thinking being displayed there? I don't think so.

Here are questions for the board of elections and the board. Gerry has no physical address in Ashe county. A post office box can be held by anyone. The remaining 28 acres he owns around his former house has the tax bill going to New Bern. So where is Gerry living?

He does need a "medication" meeting but that isn't what you thought you were writing about. But, a very heavily medicated Jerry would be an improvement. He already has a lot of time spent previously as a drooling mouth breather and the meds would stop the loopy thinking. He just wouldn't look any different. As for "mediating", no I don't think that I would want to try to sit through that with him or those like him.

I think someone should go over to creston and tie some yellow ribbons at bronze turkey lane as a welcome home gesture for Gerry.
