Only the real low on the intelligence scale smoke. Makes perfect sense that you are a smoker.

Thanks peeckerless - I am the same way as you. I apparently can't be an occasional smoker, it's either a pack a day or nothing with me.
Glad to hear about your success though...25 years is amazing and I'd bet you'll live longer for quitting and sticking with it so long!

Tabs - Thanks for the heads up on the s word and you guessed right. I was trying to characterize my starting back smoking again as not so smart. I'm glad that your lungs are clean in good shape from having never smoked - it will serve you well as you age. My poor Mom who has COPD is suffering the effects of being a smoker for many years - she quit many years back but is on oxygen now.
The Juul is just temporary - just long enough to get me through the worst of the nicotine withdrawal. Though I gotta say the lemon macaron flavor I'm puffing away on is pretty good.

Never took up the habit myself but I don't think using a Juul is any smarter.
BTW the site owner will not let you post the word s t u and p i d. Looks like you might have tried to use that to say how you felt about starting back smoking.

Yes, I am quitting smoking - for good - and I am pretty grouchy about it.
I've quit before for 2 months, 2 years and more recently for 8 years. I picked it back up a year or so ago and regret it. It was to start up again after so many years without it.
Today is my first without any cigarettes. I am using a Juul but it's not the same as a real ciggy.
Any of you guys quit successfully? How did you do it?
