Only morons think details like marital status and personal relationships make a difference on job performance.

I just don't think we need a home wrecker as a commissioner.

I particularly liked the photo of Donna with the two former county managers - looks like she had a great relationship with both of them. I would like to see her elected and Judy PP eat crow after having a hand in all 3 of these people leaving county employment.

I'll vote for her at least twice. More than that if the democrats can get the court to keep holding up the voter ID law

Donna is certainly more qualified than the current people that we have in office. I certainly will be voting for her regardless of whatever party she is affiliated with. The commissioners just got about 45 degrees smarter. LOL

Donna Weaver is well respected throughout the county and rightly so. I believe she will be elected and will do an outstanding job as she always puts 110% into everything she does.

Happy news but I had a feeling she would, wish her and Nancy Henry the best as they are friends and will work well to bring more stability and less radical thinking to the commission

I bet she wins as well the fact that Judy Poe and her cohorts don't like Donna tells me all I need to know.

http://bit.ly/1kNlfEh Yeah, she's retiring but she plans to stay busy. Outgoing DSS Director Donna Weaver plans to run for Ashe County Commissioner.
