I would have thought they would have started with the signs going in first at the high school since there are so many announcements that pertain to parents and students alike this time of year like parking passes, schedule changes, guidance information for upcoming seniors, etc. The high school or Westwood Elemenatry would have been nice since almost all the county travels those roads on a daily basis. Haven't seen much traffic in Warrensville. But what do I know? Nothing, right? I just pay taxes in this county that helped to buy the signs.

No, they do BBQs that I know the other schools do not do. Among other things. I hear parents at other schools saying that maybe their children's schools should try some of the things they do. I really could not careless if they a little more. Like you said their are more less fortunate kids there. I don't see why one would think it because of Grubb being Yates' daughter. Grubb was there before Yates' took over.

aFicloNadoS are you related to Heels09 because you are just like him being so quick to know information and defend Blue Ridge? In case it's not already obvious from a prior post about how BRES had a complete makeover when Mrs. Grubb went to work there, I think folks are starting to see a pattern with what all they have that the other schools do not have. Based on test scores, the other two elementary schools are using their money more wisely and not purchasing all new student and teacher state of the art furniture or digital signs. I believe that all schools have the same amount of fundraisers but they can pick and choose which ones the want to participate in. The PTSO might have helped purchase the sign through their fundraisers, but it was also mentioned in a prior post about BR students coming from lower income families so I'm not sure it's smart to have all those fundraisers that parents feel obligated to support just to buy a digital sign.

There is not enough time to read the sign unless you pull off the road. Not gonna happen on my time. They can send me a piece of paper.

Blue Ridge also has different fund raisers that the other schools do not. That money is used for their school only.

Ok I just spoke with a hot teacher source I have and I have been told that those signs like blue ridge will be placed at each school. The signs will take the place of all the paper the school has to send home with the kids as far as school activities. Parents will see it on the sign now. They say it will save a ton of money.

Actually, they aren't that bad any more. And maybe the PTA bought it so events would be posted and be up to date instead of someone having to manually change a sign.
