$150,000 was the bid they placed for the school initially. Roark wanted to buy the school for that and sell it for a "profit" to the fire department when he was told he couldn't do that.

I bet it cost them that and them some to rehab the school to be able to use it.

Well----Let me get a drink for this one.
On 1/62017 a consent judgement was recorded in the rod office. It appears the fire club was made and initial offer of 373K and some change. The fire club took them to court and came out with an additional 621K. That makes a total of 995K bucks for that dilapidated club house.

Pointman I am betting the state has already paid for the Fleetwood fire club. I will do a little search on ROD site and see.

I heard on the radio this morning that the school board voted to sell the old school to the fire department. Looks like they will have a new fire club. The problem I see is if they access 221 from Railroad grade road they can only go south. They will have to turn around to down the road to go north. No price was mentioned.
