Our child rode to and from school with his parents. Home from events and sometimes to the event with his parents. WTH are you complaining about Mochenites?

What rule? Since when does our BOE tell parents they can not transport their own children? Be it to school, home from school, to an event or home from an event. What are you talking about?

Rules are rules and he obviously is above all of them.

This is earth-shattering news. Consequences will NEVER be the same. I can see it now: “Father drives child home after field trip”. This is a national story.

Do you think everyone knows what you are talking about? Or do you just like starting gossip without actually providing any details?

Let’s set the record straight. First, the “rule” he supposedly broke was not being allowed to take his child home in his personal vehicle. There is no rule against this whatso ever. No policy at all! On Monday night (he night before the trip), Westwood Elementay sent out a phone call to the parents of the students going on this trip. Apparently three buses were suppose to be available. However, only two were sent. In this phone call, the principal of Westwood Elementary stated that they needed twenty or so parents to drive. Hendrix was one of few who were willing to drive. So is it now the policy of the school board that parents are not allowed to take their children home after school events, field trips, or sporting events? In my opinion, Hendrix was merely doing what every parent would do if their child wanted to ride home with them. This is an unfair attack on Hendrix personally and an attack on his character.

It seems one of our candidates for Sheriff JH thought he was above all the rules on the Washington Trip. If he can’t follow these simple rules like everyone else, he more than likely will not make a good honest law abiding sheriff. FYI
