Bufurt and his gang were republicans also. Why dont you ask your source just why the sheriff is not allowing the use of a cell phone within the facility.

I am a Republican  I believe in the right to bare arms. Free speach... I am against socialized medicine, abortion, etc.. Jack!
Make no mistake, Alot came out during the Buchanan administration & the one prior... But if I were to bet. I would say that a lot will come out in the NEXT election about the CURRENT administration.... (this is in Despite "pill fill's" NEW policy of not allowing his officers to use cell phones within the facility - which btw, is based on his fear of his officers recording and taking photos of wrongdoing) ....
Thank God for real officers who see beyond the small town politics.. At least a few elite officers still believe in the truth and believe that truth goes beyond glamor shots, in schools, reading children books to kids... As a republican, I would like to see him stay in... But beyond politics. The truth is what matters most.

The Bufurt photos were presented by Kim during a Commissioners meeting. Ironically, later a photo of her smoking with a trustee was posted on this site. Seems the old saying "what goes around comes around" has some truth to it.

It seems bucky smeared himself by rehiring/giving raise & keeping the toothless one that was pictured using inmates for personal gain.
Taxpayers dont like it when a person in power uses their positition to do favors for some while harming others. They also dont like knowing their elected leaders actions resulted in lawsuits, bad press, etc. It is bad for the County.
Jim Hartley and Williams managed to avoid most controversies. This allowed them to remain in office. Williams may not have won after the Southern Justice stunt, but it made no difference as he retired early.
That brings up the current administration.... Lets just wait and see what happens leading up and around re-election ;-)

Tabs we have numerous photos while bufurt was sheriff. We even have photos of the dog catchers sitting on their hind sides at the sheriffs office after bufurt moved them in behind locked doors.
Dont forget those nasty lawsuits either against bufurt.

I didn't mean the photos were fake, just the big deal some made about them. I mean I know it's against the rules for a trustee to smoke a cigarette. But other than themself, who did it really hurt?
And Jack, Buchanan was long gone, those photos were only posted to smear Absher.
If photos surface showing not much has changed with the new administration, the very ones who made such a fuss before the last election will either remain silent or make excuses for them simply because of party affiliation.
