My apologies to anyone offended for pointing out the Yadkin county ordinance against living in a camper on an Ashe county forum.

The original post to me had two subject areas of discussion. One was someone being fired for living in a camper. The second was the fact that they lived in a camper.

I responded to the second. It was simply an observation. A bonafide pointless tidbit to this thread is that the online auction for the Yadkin county property had two listings owned by Mr. Faw, the Wilkes sinkhole person of interest.

Former outhouse user here, while cousins down the mountain lived in brick ranchers with thermostats and beige wall-to-wall carpet.

if this is who I think it is, than I'm her neighbor and she lives with her boyfriend and a bunch of dogs. She also doesn't have running water or a bathroom and She gets her electricity from an extension cord.

Jack, while you are right, Im kind of with Billy Boy on this one. The odds of a camper having proper sewer and running water is not likely. Theres still some details missing from this story

You don't have to go back many generations to when no one had indoor plumbing.

Billy bob you have no idea if the cook scratched his balls and handled the member then wiped his tail and never washed his hands before preparing your food. I''ll take the camper any day.

If I’m camping out in a tent and preparing with myself or others, that’s one thing. But I’m not so keen on the idea of eating at a restaurant and having my food prepped and handled by someone who lives in a “camper.” I’m guessing this person doesn’t live in some huge RV with a full kitchen, living and dining room, bedroom and shower, jacuzzi. I’d be fine with that and probably a little envious. For starters, where do they park the camper? Where is mail delivered? Do they freeload and park the big jalopy in second homeowners driveways and hope for the best?
