Sorry Sharpshooter, you are equivocating, confusing making multiple assertions with making a logical argument. Challenge Incomplete.

Fair enough.

Issue One: Tariffs. Trump’s tariffs are nothing short of economic suicide. Our government made the same mistake in the early years of the Great Depression. The move caused the economy to go from bad to worse.

What are you judging the Trump Train against?

Harbinger

Posted 5:34 pm, 08/01/2018

Perhaps... if the individual in power is a megalomaniac concerned only with himself, But I think in keeping with the spirit of the challenge Trump and his party should be judged on whether they are doing their jobs properly with the best interest of the people at heart.

Perhaps control is the goal.

Harbinger

Posted 5:18 pm, 08/01/2018

Interesting response... but is power for power's sake rational? What's the point in having power unless you use it to accomplish a particular goal or goals?

Defense:

Power and the control of power is all that matters and anything done for the sake of keeping power is defensible in light of the need to control power.

Challenges aside, I don't think anyone can or should defend either the GOP or the DNC. They are two wings of the same vulture picking at the bones of the American working class.

There is nothing to defend. New sheriff in town and the liberal agenda ended on swearing in day. Get used to it.
