Seems the initial court date has been delayed according to The Hotel Tavern. They will advise when the next date will be. The Defendants requested a delay to more properly prepare for court, and The Hotel Tavern assented to the delay so long as the status quo was maintained for now.

You babble randomly and make no sense when you drink Billy. You aren't a good drunk. Shut off the computer and go to bed.

FINS went out and got himself a job of sorts. Yes, he still lives with mommy, but he's pushing print too, no doubt.

You don't know much about the NC bar do you lil puppy? Lisk is a resident of Glendale Springs, and he is representing the Tavern pro hac vice through Capua because he is Fla lic. He is THE attorney. It's kinda like when I married a Catholic woman, but I'm a Jew, and we had to be married by a Deacon, and the Priest stood by with Rabbi Fred.....

Lisk has lived in Ashe for a long time. I'm not even gonna fire off his top clients for you. You're only half-ret_ard so you can probably do that search for yourself.

Jr, it's only 17 minutes from the tavern to the Glendale inn. People are driving longer to get to the tavern. For a lot, the Inn would be closer

Capua has never lived in Ashe. He's originally from Miami and has lived in Boone for several years while running offices in both locations.

I would think buying out the lease might cost more than the building. I mean a generous enough offer and The Hotel Tavern owners would be foolish not to take it. However by affidavit they have said multiple times they'd stay for the terms of the lease according to the filings.
Yes this might get interesting. Be interesting to see that purchase contract, wonder if it has a clause that allows Mr. Beck to back out if the lease is not voided......if so he could just pull out dumping it back on the Woodie's.
If I was The Hotel Tavern though if the offer was generous enough to buy out the lease I would probably take it. By generous enough I do mean enough to cover their past investments in improvements, foreseen lost income over the terms of the lease, etc. It wouldn't be cheap. Maybe multiples of what the building cost.
The Hotel Tavern has a good location for a restaurant, Glendale Springs Inn is a bit far out.

I just realized who the Tavern's attorney is. I saw the Capua name but it didn't register correctly. There are two Capua's in Boone. One is Andrea Capua and she is a partner in the firm next door to mast store. She's the one that most think of because of the firm she is with. But she has a brother, Paul that has his own firm. I'd heard he moved, but he must still have an office in Boone. He also has a good size practice in Miami. He's not just a local mountain attorney. This could get interesting.
