It will increase. But do your math and see if its just cheaper to get the cheap stuff.

It's probably a good idea to use the ethanol blend in winter to keep moisture out of your fuel system. You know if a 12 oz bottle of Heet works it don't stand a chance at 10% ethanol.
I make a trip every few week a to SC, and my car barely squeaks out 30 mpg every time I check it. I'm interested to see what it does on pure gasoline.

As long as it's ethanol free, I'm not as concerned about if they don't sell as much in the winter. I'm still ok with it when I need it. Just hope the tanker driver doesn't drop the hose in there when he has a couple hundred gallons of regular left and no other tank to put it in.

It will be fresh in the spring, summer and fall. But I'd avoid the ethanol free gas in the winter time. 95% of people that get that will be putting it in motorcycles and lawn equipment, things that won't get much use in the winter time.

They have 100% gasoline for 15 cents more than the ethanol tainted stuff. That was enough to win my business. It's the blue hose. They should sell enough of it so that it is always fresh.

It would have been an empty lot back in the 1930's before Mr McGuire build the big brick house on it,

Well, the big gas station is open today and gas is a nickel cheaper than everyone else (for now). I was expecting a bigger splash, though. If I had a magic wand I would turn it into a good steakhouse.

Wasn't hard to figure out where to put the tanks. They go underground. Blue Ridge enviromental consultants did the work.

They have an interesting business model for many of their stations. They build a small living quarters adjoined to the store front and like to hire husband/wife teams as management, with part of their compensation being free housing. Although, the station they built in watauga taught them to put barriers around the living quarters to prevent a drunk from driving through the bedroom.

Looks like they've got the construction area ready to go at the Ingles lot. Guess they got everything figured out with where to put the tanks.

No - It's Graham Bennett of Quality Oil in Winston Salem. A real nice guy. They also own several Hampton Inn and Suites in North Carolina

The Bennett family who owns the station are not known for putting stations in places that are not going to be profitable. They have been business for over 80 years.

Badguy that one may not be that far off. Look at the terrain they worked with on that site. The state has employed persons whose only job is to inspect gas tanks and see that the operators of the station do their tests and keep their certification up. They would be the ones to tell them where they could put the tanks.

2 weeks? wow. I heard they ran into trouble trying to figure out where to put the gas tanks underground. But that was probably an Ashe rumor at its finest.

What gripes my hide is the cat that pulls up goes in to pay in cash comes back out and then returns to the counter standing in line and taking up a space at the pump for 15 minutes. They should have on cash pump and the rest credit card pumps. Solved that issue.
