Not all Republicans are Trumpoids Dog. And I don't hate Republicans even Trompoids. my attitude towards Trumpoids is like my attitude towards rats and c*ckroaches hating them is pointless they can't help being what they are, but I sure as hull don't want them around me.

It looks like several school personnel support Simmons and Roten on their campaign pages. So there's that.

A new approach in educating our children in the 21st century is needed. As far as her being a Democrat, I would hope that the Board members would keep politics out of the school system. With that said, I personally saw her at a Republican get together for Dan Forrest. Personally speaking, the school board is non-partisan and I would think that having people who had contacts with our state leaders would be a good thing and not one of contention as the education of our children is of the upmost importance. Please don't judge a book by its cover and give Roten and Simmons a chance.

The school board doesn't set curriculum. The state does.
I understand you think there should be change. But if you can't answer a question why is change needed, you aren't making a Convincing case.

I would have a hard time voting for Simmons. She's a Democrat. Can't stand the thoughts of what would be taught in the schools

I for one am ready for change. Not been happy with the board the last several years. FINS, its up to you to vote for whomever you choose, I just feel like a change in the Board is needed. I thank Beckworth and Jones for their service, but the time has come to pass along the torch to the next generation. IMHO.

It's time for a change on the school board. We have had Beckworth and Jones for 20+ years and it is time for new blood. Simmons has a PhD in Education and Roten has served on the Board of Trustees for Wilkes Community College. They would bring some fresh faces to the Board. I for one am ready to give them a chance as change is a good thing. Get out and Vote Roten and Simmons 2020.
