I guess he thinks if he harasses me enough the truth will go away about Ashe County and those running it. Dog the only time I spoke to TA Halim after the day I walked out was when I called the next day to tell him as per HIS INSTRUCTIONS neither I nor my daughter would be in for our shift that day or any other. That was the last time I spoke to him and thats all that was said. Now that is fact. When they sent the packet offering me time off and I could come back when I chose, I tossed it in a drawer and forgot about it. The only other contact was with the main office,not the store pertaining to the over 200 dollars they owed me for vacation days neither I nor my daughter took . I never set foot back in that store after that day nor did I intend to either as a customer, nor as an employee. Now I was not the only employee to.leave because if TA HALIM. One of the associates who worked the gardenshop with me left. He told me he wanted me to be the first to know he had given and was leaving. He was also the one TA humiliated in front of the whole store. I watched more of the best employees walk away than I care to think about after TA took over. He was an arrogant bully who let being manager go to his head but what do you expect from anyone from Charlotte.

He was also gay but as I told a gay woman who worked with me in the garden shop when she asked me if it bothered me, nope as long as you keep it to yourself. Mom, Kmarts downfall was when Eddie Lampert bought it for the real estate instead of retail. Several at that Boone store thought because the company owned the property he would not sell it and I told them that gave him more incentive to sell it. They didn't believe me then but I bet they do now.

Now I guess a business is going to terminate an employee then turn around 3 weeks later and rehire them for same job, same rate of pay etc if they are sorry employees. They darn well did. You know how long it took me to get the vacation pay I had, accumulated because I rarely took time off?? Almost 3 months and then I had to go to the main company to get it. I proved to the EEOC that TA HALIM turned thst store into a hostile work envuroment. So understand one thing dog, I have not one thing to be ashamed of in my 10 years there. I gave a days work for a days pay, sometimes more than they paid for.

I talked to many customers who walked away from rhat store when my daughter and I left and they said they would never shop there again. Obviously they didn't. Overworked employees handling 3 departments, few checkouts open, no merchandise, thats what finally killed that store. Valuing real estate over running a retail store finally killed the whole chain. As to writeup I had one in 10 years and tgat was leavibg the store at my clockout time. I had watched the assistant manager and his groupies stand around abd run their mouths all day and do nothing while the rest of us worked our *** off. Then he had the gall to tell me to straighen half the store so when timecame for me to leave we clocked out and left. Now if my daughter and I were such lousy employees why keep ud for 10 years?? Why ask us to go downstate to another store to help that store get things done and freight out?? But one thing I was not required to do that last year was drive up and down the road on my time, and on my dollar, off the friggin clock begging people to shop there as TA HALIM wanted. I was not the one who threw his *** up agaibst the wall and put him in a neck brace but I would have given a weeks pay to have seen it. If we were lousy emplpyees why give us the key to the office where the money was, or make us department managers?? Or why send me papers wanting me to take a leave of absence and then come back?? All of which happened no mattet how many times you claim it did not. We did our friggin jobs and many times more than our jobs.
