no docs from the Williams era support your theory.

You know many of the fired and forced out employees were already trained......they only need training now because Buchanan brought in a bunch of unqualified outsiders to take jobs from citizens.

In fact training of this sort goes back almost a decade.

Are you drunk and babbling again? When you sober up, remind me to explain to you how armed guards on school campus has a negative impact on students performances.

And a bazillion airline miles are flown without any sort of terror incident,

Too few kids are murdered in school so do away with SRO's.

Hope, Clayton may have experience, but bufort has yet to prove his 34 yrs. So far all bufort has proved is how good he lies!

It was just a photo. And it looked posed. You can't judge the training or tactics based on it.

Training is good - however, most agencies use the diamond formation not the T formation to avoid a shooter coming up behind you unseen. You'd think "experienced" people like Bufort and Clayton would know this.

When I was a kid we had a gravel driveway. It hurt to walk on it barefoot. I had a need for shoes every day. How many times ever have you needed a weapon?

Why would you not carry conceal if you have one? Mine is like putting on a pair of shoes!

My carrying a weapon is a personal choice and doesn't cost you anything. It would be my expense and only my expense. if you want to pass the plate at the PTA meeting and hire your own security guard, knock yourselves out. Although, I could teach you about how reminding kids all day of a possible threat results in decreased academic performance.

Fins, you have said several times over the years that you go armed whenever you leave your house. How many hundreds of thousand hours does the average resident of Ashe go before they need and have to use a concealed firearm?

That's like saying don't carry a concealed weapon cause PROBABLY nothing will happen. Fortune favors the prepared, luckily our county chooses not to be sheep people and puts a gun in each school.

School shootings happen at a rate of roughly 0.02 shootings to every 100,000 hours of classroom hours. Airplane crashes (including skids on a runway) happen at a rate of 6 incidents for every 100,000 hours of operational hours.

It would make more sense to chew your kid's food for them so they won't choke than putting SROs in the schools.

By the time a school yard barney could respond to a shooter he or she will have already shot a whole class.

But the one time it happens you will be darn glad that SRO was in your kids school. Well worth the money.
