Your kid has a better chance of being run over by the school bus than being killed in a school shooting. the whole topic is an emotional issue that gets the bleeding hearts crying and demanding something be done, even if it's pointless window dressing.

Much like the waste of money on the dare program was proven to be just a waste of tax payer money. Yet some school systems continue to have it because no one has the balls to can it there. The school yard barneys is a total waste of money and sheriff resources.

I think our SRO's do a fine job. Lot of hate for law enforcement in a few of these posts. Not sure how you go about complaining about guys who are doing their best to keep the county safe. I applaud everyone of those guys working right now no matter who their boss is.

If your child was killed next week at a school.without an SRO, YOU WOULD NOT MAKE THAT LAME*** STSTEMENT. Again we disagree!

I would rather stop wasting money on SRO's. My view on that waste of man power has been made very clear.

Afic you couldn't run to the toilet, much less work a job like those guys. See what I mean people this POS has always got some smart*** comment about everybody, just cause he's to big of a pus to state it face to face. Two of those deputies have over 25 years of experience, guess you would rather see one of buforts outsiders as SRO? Pathetic...

He should have had that baby faced Barney in the photo run the story over to the paper boy. He looks like he could use the exercise.

I swear, if you are going to clean house and hire new deputies, at least hire some that are fit.

What pisses me off is the paperboy sat right in his office and the lackey clayton ran to the office with a picture and a story. He and his buddies over at the post have ignored the real news from the sheriffs department.

There's always been training, sheriff bufort just got his walking papers before he got to participate in any training! LMAO

Into the future? Timmy, did they get a time machine? You dumb truck driver, you can't "bring something into the future".

This training has been taking place using the schools for sometime now. It isn't anything new or something Sheriff Bozo started.

Thank you Sheriff Buchanan and Chief Deputy Clayton for bringing the ACSO into the future. It's long overdue.
