Bad citizen you forgot that any computer/tablet/phone can access goashe. Its also my right to state my opinion not yours to tell me not to. Its a shame there are so many pansies that cant control their feelings on this site. Remind me how we hurt your little feelings.
As Fins stated NO ONE wants this site to turn into a gowilkes with nothing but political and baptist church threads day in and day out.

Sorry ashehomegrrl. The locals are too anxious to trash talk the locals to get out of Ashe County for a discussion. If you aren't cutting someone down, being a bully or being crude and vulgar, then this is not the place to post. You do not owe anyone an apology for upsetting their "hometowny board". These threads are not theirs to dominate. There was no need to call you out like they did. All they had to do was not post/reply. Poor little closed minds.

Ok, I did take a peep over at goWilkes.
I understand what you're saying about not wanting a single decisive issue to take over the discussions you have here...just didn't know it was something you all seem to have agreed upon. I wasn't trying to start problems on your nice hometowny board, honest. I was curious.
So, yeah - got it - keep the political talk local.

Please understand we have enough problems with Ashe county. The past few years have proven to have a new scum bag in every position. We have finally ridden our county of these individuals and we aim to keep it that way.

I'm aware that I live in "trump country" and I am also interested in local politics but the reaction about impeachment and Trump is so strange. Why wouldn't a local geographical based site not be into discussing a national event that has the potential to effect all of us? And I don't want to go to the site that's based in Wilkes...jeez!
