Nixon was an excellent president. Many of his accomplishments would have many people today calling him a liberal. He opened up dialog to China, Had an energy independence plan, Started the EPA, signed the clean air act, got us out of Vietnam, and was just an overall good leader. We tend to remember the worst.

If you think Nixon was a dud, then you've fallen for the democrat propaganda. You really should read up on history. Nixon was a good president. Unfortunately, he only gets remembered for watergate

From what I recall it was Nixon. But wasn't he sort of a dud anyway?

When you consider the consequences of open borders and open trade for the average American, I have to agree that any Republican is better than any Democrat.

Ah yes the liberal motto, if you can't refute a person's argument, call them names and demean them......
I stand by what I said, I don't think anyone can make an argument that Trump, Clinton and Johnson are ethical/moral people, the evidence against them is pretty ****ing in most cases.
Clinton's long term association with a one world government and the slow erosion of our freedoms means she's least likely to support the Constitution, Johnson as Governor gave driver's license to illegal immigrants and made no effort to stop illegal immigration, Trump at least recognizes we are a sovereign nation and should be able to decide who we allow here and who we don't. All three of them believe Government is the answer to social ills (it isn't).
Clinton's foreign policy as Sec of State was that of overthrowing governments and creation of chaos throughout northern Africa and the middle east. ISIS was a direct result of her actions as Sec of State. She's a warmonger pure and simple.
Foxx for all her vaunted GOP credentials has done nothing to stop the overreach of Obama, and there is no reason to believe she would do so against any other President. As such a fundamental breakdown occurs in the checks and balances because the House refuses to hold anyone holding high office accountable for anything. Sure they have their investigations which always lead no where, no one is ever punished and no one is ever removed. She's there for one reason and one reason only, like most politicians she's not there for you or me, she's there for herself, the power she gets and to line her pockets.

On more than one occasion I've heard Foxx make the statement that any republican is better than any democrat. I would be interested to know if she still stands by such brainless partisan nonsense.

Don't listen to the media so much, a bunch of GOP leaders that weren't supporting Trump before, still aren't supporting him, big surprise.
There isn't a candidate for President that is recognized by the state of North Carolina that is moral or ethical.
If I had to put them in order from Least Moral/Ethical to Most Moral/Ethical I'd order them this way
Hillary Clinton Donald Trump Gary Johnson
If I put them in order of who I think would defend the Constitution from Least Likely to Most Likely I'd order them this way:
Hillary Clinton Gary Johnson Donald Trump
If I put them in the order of who I think would most likely start WWIII from least to most it would look like this:
Gary Johnson Donald Trump Hillary Clinton
As for Jordan, sorry he's served his 2 terms, time someone else had that seat.
Foxx is finishing her sixth term, time she left.
Burr is finishing his second term, time he left as well (He's spent over 20 years in DC counting the fact he is the previous Rep before Foxx for this district....)
If we want term limits and I surely do then we have to stop voting for people over and over, give em their chance then get some new blood in there, the government screws us a lot less the less time these people spend in office from both major parties. Don't just keep voting for them because they have an R or D by their name, the longer they are in DC the less difference their party makes in what they do....

DILLIGAF! Seriously, it doesn't really matter what other people think. If your opinion is swayed by the opinions of others, you have zero business voting EVER. Unfortunately for the country though, it's those sheeple the candidates are banking on.
