I should have known that Andy from the health Dept. was involved he likes to make up the rules as he goes. There have been a bunch of builders and grading people and real estate people tring to get something done about him for a long time. In fact it is these type of people that help get Jonthan Jordan elected hoping he could help them.

Watauga county has got caught with its britches down. The property tax boys seen to have not been out there seen all of this construction over the years and the man has been advertising and running a camp for over 30 years and the health dept knows nothing.
Dont get me wrong conway should have to do just like the rest of us, he is noting special but the watauga county is just as guilty.

Could be, but I've never heard of Joe letting his office be used to extort taxes.
Btw, someone forward the Watauga Democrat link to the boys at the Post and show them how even rural reporting works. Someone gets out of the office and goes to talk to people involved.

I have heard it is because he didn't pay his property taxes.

It looks like the owner tried to secretly build some new structures and do some grading and got caught. Then he pitched a hissy fit and gave them reason to look deeper at the whole opperation and he has refused to cooperate at all.
