Dog you can't even get the highway patrol to respond. I have seen no tags, race cars, speeding, etc on the Big Flatts Church road and called them. Its a waste of time.

Loud mufflers, unsafe loads. illegal after market window tints, children riding in pick-up beds are ignored frequently. So why not have riding mowers and four wheelers running around on the highways?

No Fins its not about me. Its about the fact that the highway patrol is not going to be chasing after these vehicles,any more than the regular vehicles tagged or not tagged. You can make all the regulations ypu wish but if noone enforces tgem what good are they?? No everyone is going to avide by the law especially in the outlying areas.

Shucks I thought I had solved my tramsportation problem. I am so sure since you can't even get the highway patrol to investigate a big junk truck running with no tags for months now they will do a bang up job enforcing all those regulations.

So I was right, there are restrictions. But federal highways are not completely off limits. The one I saw was on the two lane section of 221 between the towns.

they can only be on a 2 lane road where the posted speed is 55 mph or less.
or on a 4 lane road where the max speed is 35 mph or less

I sure wouldn't want to be on a main highway dodging tractor and trailers on a side by side. I just wonder how the accident rates will be.
I've also noticed that now that they are legal, the things are everywhere. But the majority aren't tagged. I saw one today along the river where some guy was letting his 10y/o drive.

I was thinking the same thing fins. I saw one in West Jefferson on the streets. I asked a barney and found out they can be on any road unsure about an expressway. Golf carts can only be on roads with a speed limit of 35mph or below.
