Vendor Selling Illegal Products at Farmers' Market?

I'm pretty sure that this vendor was smart enough to know what had to be done to make his boards legal. Even if he didn't, like someone else already stated these are Rolexes and designer purses we are talking about. I believe somebody is just being nosy and needs to mind their own business.

TryinToFind......exactly!! The wrap manufacturer is the one producing the logo or school approved item, thus they are the one's paying any royalties. The guy making the cornhole boards isn't reproducing any wraps so he isn't doing anything illegal. The royalties have already been paid once and should not need to be paid again by the cornhole bd. maker.

And for NCAA items - they have to have a "hang-tag" with the UPC bar code and an official hologram.

Here is how it works. I have been licensed to sell certain colleges apparel and goods. You have to pay a fee/school annually to carry the merchandise, even if you invent the merchandise. Then you have to present that idea to each school for approval. They in turn get a percentage of the each sale. The merchandise must labeled as authentic by using a small sticker that they provide for you basically saying that this is authentic product.

As far as the wraps go....that company is probably paying the royalties to the schools and the wraps are approved for anyone to purchase. Keeping up with all of it is a real pain in the butt, but you have to do it to be legal.

If it is illegal then why is anyone able to order the skins online specifically made for cornhole boards?

I'll bet the decals have a little R with a circle somewhere on them. Where did little Jimmy run off and hide?

To put it simply...

Selling unlicensed sports products = Selling counterfeit products = Stealing from business people that play by the rules and operate legitimate businesses.

I'm one to play by the rules. I still believe in honesty and don't appreciate those who take shortcuts to make a buck, whether it be from defrauding welfare or selling counterfeit products. Thanks for the insight, but disappointed to see how many of you seemingly condone this practice.
