What’s embarrassing is having a chief of police that is allowed to serve in an elected capacity, which is a direct conflict of interest to the job he was hired to do. What’s also an embarrassment is when the same chief of police is a jackbooted thug that tries to use his badge to illegally intimidate people to bend to his will. Rose needs to figure out that his time is done, and the people of Ashe don’t want him any more. He has embarrassed the county enough.

And Joseph, being a known hothead, bully and loud mouth is nothing to be proud of. It should be embarrassing.

There are some people you just don't mess with a Bill is one of those. It not about being a loose cannon its about not letting people walk all over you. This whole thing reminds me of the quote from first blood where col. Trautman says you picked the wrong man to push.

Well he is being sued for making False and defamatory comments about a former town cop and chief of police at the Hospital.

If I were Bill I would have my case put off until this lawsuit is settled since if Jimmy wins it would put Roses word in question which would only help Bill.

Yeah right its clear that you either didn't read the article or you have your head up someone rear-end. Rose didn't defuse anything and the way the article reads only made things worst. It was another cop that defuse the situation who Bill called a fine decent acting man again according to the article.

Like I asked before were there any cameras on the actions of the three? Raising a pipe by all means could be considered a threat but not an assault, and making the comment " I am tired of this" (bet some of this was left out) and placing the hand on a gun by all means is a threat. I also would say there has been some sort of on going dispute between Colvard Oil and the town. This was obviously not a one time thing either. The ACL should have dug into more of why the water samples to begin with.

Its not about the water samples these two have an ongoing feud and rose showing up just fanned the flames.
