Actually, you are wrong. He could be sued for the expenses he has caused after he is proven to be a criminal. And if you think this will blow over and go away, you should do some research on how many cases the SBI loses once they take something to a grand jury. They don’t waste their time on maybes. You’d do good to accept the truth and move on. Find an honest and competent candidate for sheriff and support them. Maybe you’ll find a winner next time.

Transplant, did you miss that the judge temporarily removed him from the job? While he hasn’t been permenantly removed, he’s not currently the sheriff. He’s not even allowed to think about sheriffing. I just hope when the judge removes him permenantly, he is forced to return all pay from during the time of the suspension.
