Who should we run for school board?

Sad thing is, she may retire after she gets her four highest years in for doing nothing, but she’ll leave a school system and grandchildren who have no respect for her. Not to mention a daughter who could never be hired anywhere except here without being a teacher. Not to mention a son who has made threats that could be charged by law to a school official. She has done way more harm than good to her family!!

Yates isn’t supported my most teachers but the bully factor is huge with her family members. If you threaten or are vocal her son threatens you and comes on a school campus and makes threat to school people. It’s scary. The board is our only hope.

All of the complaints about Yates have seemed to be mostly a whining parent or teacher. The complaints haven’t seemed to be of any real substance. But the as said, either way, the school board needs an update. Let’s elect some people that don’t complain because their phones don’t have rotaries anymore. But the question is who do we support? It’s time for a board that is fiscally responsible and understands the importance of education over useless things like sports. But we have to also make sure they aren’t part of crowd that gave us Bufurt for sheriff.

Yates or no Yates, both of the seats up for grabs in the next election have been held by the same two people for TOO long. Don't know either personally, but a 1/4 century on a board of education is entirely too long. Time for some new blood.

There have been just too many complaints about Yates for there not to be merit. Perhaps is time we heard from some teachers who work under her.

Fins is a lot of things, but uneducated isn't one of them. And h*mophobia isn't a good look on anyone. There are plenty of negative qualities to point out about his character without resorting to middle school insults.

I think trolls should get on goashe because it does get attention and people do read. The Superintendent even tells people not to go on here. It does matter. The election in two years should reflect how the last two have run the board has been run the last years. Love that 9 people ran last time. Dianne led the race and she is listening, and that is what we need. Last time these two men who ran, no one ran against them. Not again! Yates has put them where they will never get elected. There will be others and they won't be allowed on the board. I have a friend who works at the hospital and the current SUPER called Jones all the time. Is he the SUPER? Not suppose to be this way. Dianne and Keith will be there when the others are out.
I hope we get people who aren't concerned about their own children. It will be interesting!

Keep thinking about it fins! You could be the first school board candidate to run as an unintelligent, uneducated, closeted h*mosexual who holds a job as an online forum troll. That could be the basis for a strong platform!

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and wondering who should we run for school board in the next election? Looking for intelligent, educated candidates that aren’t blue hairs and have held jobs other than being a teacher.
